Rachael Brown
Lead Therapist
I am an experienced speech and language therapist who has worked with children and young people since qualifying from University College London with a BSc (hons) degree in Speech Sciences in 1998.
I fully appreciate the difference it makes to child's wellbeing and learning when they can communicate to their full potential. This has come from my experience of working with families, the national children's communication charity ICAN, in a wide range of education settings, the NHS as well as from being a mum to three children.
An introduction to Time to Talk
I set up Time to Talk in 2007 providing Speech and Language Therapy for children from aged 18 months to 18 years. We offer a combination of assessment and therapy both at home and in school and nursery settings. We work directly with the child and/or through school staff, putting support in place to improve communication and accelerate learning and progress.
Time to Talk has a simple vision: we are passionate about helping children to overcome language and communication barriers. Everyone has a right to be understood, to be listened to and to be able to communicate effectively; achieving the very best they can.
